is an actor, dancer, singer, dance teacher and choreographer – and has performed locally, nationally and internationally. Born in Sonora, Mexico and raised in Tucson, Arizona, she grew up in two cultures, fully bi-lingual on and offstage. She’s active in film, theatre and voice over work, Latin, Broadway and pop music, and a variety of dance styles including flamenco, tango and salsa. She plans on focusing more on film and theatre at this moment in her life, and to continue expanding her experiences and growth as a performing artist into the future.
DETECTIVE VALENTINE, is an award-winning actor with extensive credits in film, television and theatre. He has been featured in numerous studio and independent films, including Convincer with Greg Kinnear and Inheritance with Keith David. Television credits include Twin Peaks, Downtown, and Lake Street Project, among others. He appeared on Broadway and in the European tour of Gospel at Colonus with Morgan Freeman. He is a long-time Penumbra Theatre Company member, appearing in over 35 shows. James is the recipient of a 2005 Spenser Chereshore Artist Fellowship and a 2008 McKnight Artist Fellowship.
DETECTIVE STOKES, holds a BFA in acting with credits in theatre, film, web-series, commercials, PSAs and voiceover. Dallas has appeared in Tucson with The Rogue Theatre, Invisible Theatre, Beowulf Alley, Live Theatre Workshop and others, as well as theatre companies in New Jersey and Oklahoma. Dallas is an actor, theatre educator and Production Manager for the Tucson-based theatre company Stories that Soar!
SLIGHT, is a native Tucsonan. Hector has performed in numerous plays with the award winning Borderlands Theatre Company. Some of his credits with Borderlands include: Guantanamo, Fuente Ovejuna, Romeo and Juliet, The Sins of Sor Juana and Mixed Messages. Hector was also an active member of The Southern Arizona Light Opera Company, where he was part of over 30 productions. He has also been active in films; which include Caramelo, Devine, Old Spain and The system is Broken. Hector hopes to continue being active in both theatre and film.
AERIALIST, ACTOR, began studying dance with Peggy Soomil in Oregon in 2003. She joined the Zuzi Dance Company in Tucson in 2007. Monica also performs on aerial silks, and enjoys exploring the combination of silks and modern dance. She is a freelance artist, whose work ranges from small sculptures to large murals. Monica is also a nurse. Blood Widow is Monica’s first feature film.
YOUNG KELLER, At the young age of 10, Caleb has already built quite a resume. In the last three years Caleb has performed in numerous plays and musicals. This year he was featured in a commercial campaign for Nova Home Loans. He is also featured in the soon to be released feature film Lucky U Ranch.
POLICE CAPTAIN, studied illustration and painting at the Philadelphia College of Art. She then made a life-changing journey to the Southwest, ending up in Tucson, where she has worked with Arizona Theatre Company, Ododo Theatre Company and Amerikan Hoo-Doo Theatreworks.
She has also appeared in Tucson Productions at AKA Theatre, Borderlands Theatre, Arizona On Stage and Beowulf Alley, as well as at the Invisible Theatre, which also presented her one-woman show, Walking Between Worlds, in 2003. Toreenee’s first feature film, Unsound, has won numerous awards.
